The prestigious British financial magazine fDi Magazine compiled a rating of "European cities and regions of the future 2018/19"Published by The Financial Times.
FDi experts compared almost 500 European cities and regions in terms of their economic potential, labor market, economic efficiency, infrastructure and the presence of a business-friendly environment. “The rating of European cities and regions of the future fdi 2018/19 seeks to find the most promising cities and regions throughout Europe, and not just those that belong to the EU,” writes fDi.
The rating serves as a barometer of the attractiveness of many cities and regions, from Russia to Ireland and from Finland to Greece. The cities included in the fDi selection, for the most part, are actively moving forward for domestic investment.
Moscow took several places in the fDi list at once.
- She was in sixth position among all the evaluated cities in Europe.
- And among the Eastern European megacities, the Russian capital is the undisputed leader, surpassing the Polish, Romanian and Czech capitals.
- According to such a criterion as the standard of living and the volume of human capital, Moscow is on the second line, losing to London.
- In addition, fDi experts placed the Mother See in fifth place among European cities most friendly to entrepreneurship.
